Fendi Palazzo in Rome

I recently visited the Fendi Palazzo in Rome and spent a fascinating day learning more anout the company and its products. The palazzo remains in use by the Fendi family, and is a beautiful old building in the center of the city, with modern updates by fashion star architect Peter Marino.

The bottom two floors are devoted to retail, with bags and accessories on the ground floor, and clothing and furs on the next floor. The other floors house the showroom, design studios, and fur studio. It was fascinating to learn about the care and expertise that goes into creating a Fendi fur coat. Finally, at the top of the building, the rooftop is a giant garden space, with amazing views over the beautiful old buildings of the city.
