Ron Nagle illuminated us with his ideas in person at the opening of
his show "Ron Nagle: Peripheral Cognition" at the San Diego Museum of Art! It was interesting to see how he maintained his style using different materials over the decades - from ceramic to plastic, etc. I also really enjoyed his drawings! I loved his titles for his works which tended to be funny rather than the usual obtuse or "untitled" that you often find.
The SDMA "Gallery Collective" young members group was there and we enjoyed delicious bubbly and a huge cheese spread - which I have really missed since leaving France!!
